EAI Changes Low Level 1,4 Dioxane Reporting Limit

The State of New Hampshire adopted the legislative statute RSA 485-C:4, III to lower the Ambient Groundwater Quality Standard (AGQS) for Low Level 1,4 Dioxane (CAS# 123-91-1) from 3.0 ppb (ug/L) to 0.32 ppb (ug/L) (See Env-Or 603.03(c) intro, Table 600-1 below). This new standard went into effect on September 1, 2018.

In response, Eastern Analytical, Inc. (EAI) has lowered their Low Level 1,4 Dioxane reporting limit from 0.25 ppb (ug/L) to 0.2 ppb (ug/L) for all projects required to meet the new AGQS standard.

We invite you to attend one of our free informal and informative laboratory and sample collection training sessions this winter. For new employees or seasoned veterans, our training offers a variety of material including pre-project planning, sample collection, sample delivery and analyses, final reporting, available resources, and more.

Training is held at our laboratory. The sessions begin at 9 am and end at noon. Certificates will be issued and CEUs (0.2) / Training Contact Hours (3) are approved.
