All schools and licensed childcare facilities in New Hampshire are now required by law SB247 to test lead in drinking water at all locations where water is available for consumption by children. Compliance deadline is July 1, 2019.
Eastern Analytical, Inc., an accredited NH certified laboratory, offers testing lead in drinking water for environmental professionals to easily assist school and childcare clientele with their compliance sample collection, testing and reporting requirements.
The State of New Hampshire adopted the legislative statute RSA 485-C:4, III to lower the Ambient Groundwater Quality Standard (AGQS) for Low Level 1,4 Dioxane (CAS# 123-91-1) from 3.0 ppb (ug/L) to 0.32 ppb (ug/L) (See Env-Or 603.03(c) intro, Table 600-1 below). This new standard went into effect on September 1, 2018.
In response, Eastern Analytical, Inc. (EAI) has lowered their Low Level 1,4 Dioxane reporting limit from 0.25 ppb (ug/L) to 0.2 ppb (ug/L) for all projects required to meet the new AGQS standard.
