We invite you to attend one of our free informal and informative laboratory and sample collection training sessions this winter. For new employees or seasoned veterans, our training offers a variety of material including pre-project planning, sample collection, sample delivery and analyses, final reporting, available resources, and more. Certificates will be issued and CEUs (0.2) / Training Contact Hours (3) are approved. Training ends with a lab wide tour. Meet the EAI Team and see how the laboratory operates!
Training is held at our laboratory. Each session begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon.
Tuesday, January 24th
Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator Session (0.2 CEUs)
In addition to the nuts and bolts training, guest speaker Ray Gordon, with the NHDES Subsurface Program and Wastewater Operator Education Committee will be presenting (subject matter to be determined).
Tuesday, January 31st
Public Water Supplies, Drinking Water Session (0.2 CEUs)
In addition to the nuts and bolts training, guest speaker Brandon Kernen, with the NHDES Drinking Water and Groundwater Bureau, will present information regarding perfluorochemicals (PFCs) in drinking water.
Tuesday, February 7th or Tuesday, February 14th
Environmental Consultant Sessions (3 TCHs)
In addition to the nuts and bolts training, guest speakers Lea Anne Atwell (Hydrogeologist III) and/or Kate Emma Schlosser (Civil Engineer V) with the NHDES Waste Management Division will present “General Background on PFCs and the New Monitoring Requirements for Hazardous Waste Sites”.
(The material taught is the same for both sessions.)
